I have a LGIP-340N cell phone and I want to downlo...

I have a LGIP-340N cell phone and I want to download some pictures onto my computer. I purchased a charge and sync cable but a window appears stating I need a cd to load the necessary infomation from so the phone will work. Do I need to purchase the required cd from the Telus store where I bought the phone or what? Thanks.
