Make sure the printed side of the battery points upwards.
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Angle the edge labelled

(with the contacts) into the bottom end of the battery slot.
3. Push down the edge labelled

until the battery clicks firmly into place.
2.2.2 Charging the Battery
Before charging the battery, ensure that the battery has been properly inserted into your phone.
• Press to open the menu on an active screen.
• Press and hold to open the keyboard so you can perform quick searches.
• Press to unlock the screen.

• Roll to navigate selectable items on the screen.
• Press to select a highlighted item or action.
• Press to zoom in or out the Home screen.
• Press to return to the previous screen.
• Press to exit any application you are running.
