DRM protected content comes with an associated activation key that defines your rights
to use the content.
To back up OMA DRM protected content, use the backup feature of Nokia PC Suite.
If your device has WMDRM protected content, both the activation keys and the content
will be lost if the device memory is formatted. You may also lose the activation keys and
the content in case the files on your device get corrupted. Losing the activation keys or
the content may limit your ability to use the same content on your device again. For
more information, contact your service provider.
2. Get started
Install SIM card and battery
Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery.
For availability and information on using SIM card services, contact your SIM card vendor.
This may be the service provider or other vendor.
This phone is intended for use with a BL-4C battery. Always use original Nokia batteries.

The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bending, so be
careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card.
1. Open the back cover (1) and remove
the battery (2).
2. Open the SIM card holder (3). Insert
the SIM card with the contact surface
facing down into the holder (4).
Close the SIM card holder (5).
3. Observe the battery contacts (6), and
insert the battery (7). Slide the back
cover into its place (8).
