2 Use or to scroll through the choice list. To get a list of messages,
press Read.
Pressing Select gives you the following options:
On — Sets info message reception on.
Off — Turns info message reception off.
Topic index — Fetches a list of available topics from the network.
Read — Shows a list of received info messages. Scroll to the one you want to
read and press OK.
Language — Sets the language for the messages. Scroll to the desired
language and press Mark.
Service command editor (Menu 1-3)
In this menu, you can send service requests, such as activation commands for
network services, to your service provider. Key in the sequence you want, and
press Send.
Voice messages (Menu 1-4)
Listen to voice messages (Menu 1-4-1)
When you enter this menu, the communicator dials the phone number
stored in menu 1-4-2. If required, key in the access code for your mailbox
or answering machine when the connection has been made.
Voice mailbox number (Menu 1-4-2)
The phone number that you enter here will be dialled when you select the
Listen to voice messages function in Menu 1-4-1. A voice mailbox can be
a network service or your personal answering machine. You may enter a
new or edit an existing phone number. The number will be used until you
change the number again.
Call register (Menu 2)
In this menu, you can check and erase phone numbers of calls that you have
missed (Menu 2-1), received (Menu 2-2) or dialled (Menu 2-3). Note that the
Received calls and Missed calls functions are network services which work
only in networks that allow you to view the caller’s phone number.
Note: The communicator only
registers missed calls when the
phone is switched on and
within network coverage.
