Security code (5 digits)
See “Protecting the phone with the security code” on page 78.
PIN code (4 to 8 digits)
See “Protecting the SIM card with the PIN code” on page 77.
PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits)
The PIN2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, is required to access
some functions, such as charging unit counters. These functions are
only available if supported by your SIM card.
If you enter an incorrect PIN2 code three times in a succession, you
cannot use the functions requiring the PIN2 code before entering
the PUK2 code.
PUK code (8 digits)
The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is required to change a
blocked PIN code. The PUK code may be supplied with the SIM card.
If not, contact your local service provider for the code.
If you enter an incorrect PUK code ten times in succession, the SIM
card becomes invalid. Contact your service provider for a new card.
PUK2 code (8 digit)
The PUK2 code, supplied with some SIM cards, is required to change
a blocked PIN2 code.
If you enter an incorrect PUK2 code ten times in succession, you
cannot use the functions requiring the PIN2 code. To use the
functions, contact your service provider for a new card.
Barring password
The barring password is needed for using the Call barring
service menu (4-5-2). Contact your service provider for the
password.
