Menu key
Leaving applications running in the background increases the demand on battery power and reduces the battery life. To access
the applications in your device, press the menu key in the standby modes. To return to Menu from an application, leaving the
application open in the background, press the menu key. Press and hold the menu key to see a list of the active applications
and switch between them. In this user guide, "select Menu" refers to pressing this key.
Voice key
Press the voice key to open Recorder and start recording a memo. Press and hold the voice key to use voice commands. See
"Voice commands," p. 38.
Keypad lock (keyguard)
When the keypad lock is on, calls may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device.
Use the keypad lock to prevent the keys on the device from being accidentally pressed.

To lock the keypad in the standby mode, press the left selection key (1) and the blue function key (2).
To unlock, press the left selection key and the blue function key again.
Tip: To lock the keypad in the Menu or in an open application, press the power key briefly, and
select Lock keypad. To unlock, press the left selection key and the blue function key.
To lock the device in the standby mode, press the power key briefly and select Lock phone. Enter your
lock code, and select OK. To unlock, press the left selection key, enter your lock code, and select OK.

Antennas
Your device has two internal antennas.
Note: As with any other radio transmitting device, do not touch either of the antennas unnecessarily when the device
is switched on. Contact with the antenna affects call quality and may cause the device to operate at a higher power
level than otherwise needed. Not touching the antenna area during a phone call optimises the antenna performance
and the talktime of your device.
