Idle mode
After you have switched on your device and it is ready to use, but you have not entered any characters or made other selections,
the phone may be in the idle mode. The graphic shows a sample idle screen.

Shortcuts in idle and active idle modes
In the idle mode, you can use the joystick and selection keys to access the following shortcuts.
Scroll left My Stuff
Scroll right IM
Scroll up Create a New message
Scroll down Address Book
Press joystick MEdia Net
Left selection key Log
Right selection key Messag.
To change these shortcuts, select Menu > Settings > Config. > Phone > Idle screen mode.
In active idle mode, you can scroll and select these applications and folders from the active idle bar:
