Password Keeper
You can use the Password Keeper app to store all your passwords, usernames, and security questions in one place. If you
want a password that is difficult to guess, you can also use
Password Keeper to generate random passwords that contain
numbers, letters, and symbols.
Password Keeper is designed to encrypt your passwords to protect them. When you enter your password for the Password
Keeper app, the passwords that you store in the app are decrypted so you can see them.
Transfer password records
To transfer password records, you must first back up the password data as part of the backup file during the device switch
process, or export the password records to a backup file.
If you saved the backup file to a media card, insert the media card into your new BlackBerry device. If you didn't save the
backup file to a media card, you can use BlackBerry Link to transfer the records.
1. In the Password Keeper app, swipe down from the top of the screen.

Tap > Import Passwords.
3. Complete the instructions on the screen.
Store password records in the cloud
If you store password records in the cloud, you don't need to transfer records when you switch BlackBerry devices. When
you sign in to your new device using your BlackBerry ID and the same Password Keeper password that you used on your old
device, the records appear in the Password Keeper app.
1. In the Password Keeper app, swipe down from the top of the screen.

3. Turn on the Cloud Synchronization switch.
To delete password records stored in the cloud, tap Delete Cloud Records.
Manage password records
In the Password Keeper app, do any of the following:
To add a record, tap . Enter the required information. Tap Save.
To edit a record, tap the record. Tap . Edit the information. Tap Save.
