You return to the Browser Options screen.
Setting general Browser options
On the General Properties screen, you can customize the following options:
Content Mode: Select the type of content that your handheld should accept.
Choose WML & HTML, HTML only, or WML only. By default, this field is
set to WML & HTML.
Smart Caching Expire Time: Type the number of minutes that should pass
before the Browser cache is cleared automatically. By default, this field is set
to 0.
Images Per Request: Select the number of images that can be downloaded
after the text portion of a web page loads, or when you select More Images
from the menu while viewing a web page.
Request Images: Select when you want the Browser to download images.
Choose After Loading Page, During Loading Page or Do not Request
Images.
Show Image Placeholders: Select whether you want the Browser to display
image placeholders when images are not downloaded.
Confirm Delete Bookmarks: Select whether you want to confirm before
bookmarks are deleted. This check box appears only if you are able to use
bookmarks.
Warning: You should not change the additional fields and check boxes on the Browser
Configuration screen. Contact your service provider, network operator, or system
administrator for more information..
Note: You can see the version of your current Browser and configure the default
Browser type by selecting the Browser item from the Options screen. Refer to "Browser"
on page 250 for more information.
Note: The available options and default configuration for the Content Mode option
might vary depending on the Browser configuration set by your network operator,
service provider, or system administrator.
Note: Certain web sites do not save web pages to the Browser cache. If you set this
Smart Caching Expire Time field, all web pages are cached. If you notice irregular
behavior on a web site, set this field to 0.
