Messages screen menu - Delete item
3. A dialog box appears prompting you to confirm that you want to delete the
item. (This dialog box appears only if Confirm Delete is enabled on the
Message List Options screen.) Click Delete.
You return to the Messages screen and the message or phone call log is no longer
listed.
To delete multiple items by date
You can delete all email, PIN, or SMS messages and phone call logs prior to a
particular date by selecting a date field.
1. On the Home screen, click the Messages icon. The Messages screen appears.
2. Select a date field and click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Delete
Prior.
Note: You can delete an open message. You can also delete messages from the Search
Messages and Saved Messages screens.
If you request more of an email message, you should not delete the message until you
have received the rest of it. Refer to "Receiving long email messages" on page 67 for
more information on receiving long email messages.
If you delete an SMS message from the Messages screen, it is deleted from your
handheld’s SIM card if, on the SMS screen, you have set the Leave messages on SIM
Card field to No. Refer to "SMS" on page 226 for more information on deleting SMS
messages from your SIM card.
