Memory Management
You can check used and available memory space for Shared
Memory, Messages, Media, Calendar, Tasks, Memo and Contacts.
You can also clear any of these spaces or delete all information
from your phone:
Clearing Memory
1. In Idle mode, press Settings Memory
Management and press the Select soft key or the
key.
2. Highlight Clear Memory and press the Select soft key or
the key.
3. Highlight each category you want to clear and press the
key to place a check mark beside the category. select
all available categories. Selecting All places a check mark
adjacent to every entry in the list. You can remove a check
mark by highlighting the selection and pressing the
key again.
4. Press the OK soft key.
5. Enter your password (if applicable) and at the
Clear?
prompt, press the
Yes
soft key to confirm or the
No
soft key
to cancel. Depending on your phone’s security settings, you
may be asked to enter your password a second time.
6. When you are finished, press the key to return to Idle
mode.
Checking the Used Space
1. In Idle mode, press Settings Memory
Management and press the Select soft key or the
key.
2. Highlight Used Space and press the Select soft key or the
key.
