History
: Lists all recently viewed URLs.
Send URL via
: sends the currently viewed URL to a recipient in a
message or via Bluetooth.
Save
: lets you save an Image or Web Page.
Saved pages
: provides a list of saved web pages.
Page details
: allows you to view details about the current page: Title,
URL, MIME type, Last updated and Size.
Browser Settings:
Clear Caches
: You can clear the information stored in the cache,
which is the phone’s temporary memory and stores the most recently
accessed Web pages.
Cookies
: Use this option to delete cookies or set cookie options.
Cookies identify who you are when you revisit web sites; however,
they are also used to track your web surfing habits. Empty Cookies
increases security. Cookie Options allow you to Accept all cookies,
Reject all cookies, or Prompt you when a site wants to deposit a
cookie.
Preferences
: The Preferences option allows you to set browser
preferences such as Run JavaScript, Display Images, Play Sound,
and Run Flash.
Browser Profiles
: Lets you choose a browser profile from the options
provided by your service provider.
About Browser
: Displays information about the browser such as the
type and version.
Using Bookmarks
While navigating a website, you can bookmark a site to quickly
and easily access it at a future time. The URLs (website
addresses) of the bookmarked sites are stored in the Bookmarks
folder, where you can use the nine preset bookmarks and store
your own favourite URLs.
Accessing a Website Using Bookmarks
1. When the Idle screen displays, press the
Internet
soft key
,
then press Options View Bookmarks.
2. Press a bookmark item in the Bookmarks list.
Adding Bookmarks
1. When the Idle screen displays, press the
Internet
soft key
.
2. Press the Options soft key and select Enter URL.
3. Enter the URL you want to bookmark using the keypad.
4. Highlight Add Bookmark and press the Check soft key to
place a checkmark in the box.
5. Highlight Title and enter a title for the bookmark.
6. Press the
Go
soft key. The website opens and is added to
the bookmark list.
