Notifications
When you receive a notification, the Notification icon displays
in the Notification Bar. Notifications indicate the arrival of
Gmail, Email, alarms, and more.
Notification Bar
The Notification Bar includes a pull-down list to show
information about processes that are running, recent
notifications, and alerts.
To display the Notification Panel:
Ⅲ On the Home screen, touch and hold the Notification
Bar until the pull-down displays, then drag downward.
In the Notification Panel, touch a Notification icon for more
detail. For example, touch a Gmail Notification icon to see
who sent the message.
Touch the Time field to open the World clock app and add a
new city. Touch a Notification in the list to display the item.
For example, touch a Gmail entry to open the Gmail
application and view the message.
Most apps that send notifications, such as Gmail, have
individual settings that can be configured. See the settings
for individual applications.
