Once you locate the entry, press the key to dial the
number, or press the Options soft key to access the
Address Book entry options.
Address Book Entry Options
While in the Address Book with any of the default entries
highlighted, press the Options soft key to use access the
following options:
View
:
provides you with details about that contact entry. Press the
Back
soft key to return to the Address Book listing.
Add New Contact
:
allows you to add a new entry to your Address
Book.
Call
:
allows you to call a currently selected entry.
Send Message
:
allows you to send a text message or a multimedia
message to the selected entry.
Edit
:
allows you to edit the properties of an entry such as: Name,
Category, Group, or location. Press the key to save your changes.
Delete
: allows you to delete a selected address book entry, multiple
entries from a target location such as the Phone and/or SIM card, or all
entries.
Send Business Card via
: allows you to send your Business Card via
message or Bluetooth to the selected entry.
More
: allows you to:
Assign Speed Dial
:
allows you to set the speed dial key for this entry.
Copy to FDN Contacts
: allows you to copy the selected contact to the
FDN Contact list.
SIM Management
: allows you to Copy Contacts from the Phone to the
SIM, copy Contacts from the SIM to the Phone, or Delete SIM contacts.
Print via Bluetooth
: allows you send the selected contact entry
information to a Bluetooth compatible printer.
Adding a New Contact
Use the following procedures to store a new contact to your
Phone or SIM Card. There are two starting methods: one, starting
from the Address Book and adding a new contact; and the
second, starting from the Idle screen and typing in the number.
Both of the procedures about initial setup use the second starting
method.
Storing a Number in the Phone’s Memory
1. In Idle mode, enter the phone number and press the
key.
- Or -
Press the Options soft key and select the Save to Address
Book option.
Note:
The
Save New Contacts to
setting must be set to
Phone
to automatically
store numbers in the phone’s memory.
