64 Troubleshooting
Keypad does not lock when the
phone is placed into a carrying case.
The technology used in the phone can
activate the keypad when held close
(approximately ½ inch or 1 cm) to strong
magnets, such as those found in some
handbag latches, eyeglass cases, and
belt clips. To prevent accidental dialling,
turn on the automatic keylock
% 62 Automatic keylock.
I cannot synchronize or transfer data
between my phone and my computer,
when using the USB cable provided
The cable has not been properly
installed and detected on your computer.
The software that came with your phone
has not been properly installed on the
computer.

assist you in solving the problem.
Error messages
Insert SIM
There is no SIM card in the phone or
you may have inserted it incorrectly.
Insert a SIM card % 4 To insert SIM
card and battery.
The SIM card connectors need
cleaning. If the card is damaged,
contact your network operator to
ask for a new SIM card.
Insert correct SIM card
The phone is set to only work with
certain SIM cards. Check if you are
using the correct operator SIM card
for your phone.
Wrong PIN/Wrong PIN2
You have entered your PIN or PIN2
incorrectly. Enter the correct PIN or
PIN2 } Yes % 60 SIM card lock.
PIN blocked/PIN2 blocked
You have entered your PIN or PIN2
code incorrectly three times in a row.
To unblock % 60 SIM card lock.
Codes do not match
The two codes that you have entered
do not match. When you want to
change a security code, (for example,
your PIN) you must confirm the new
code by entering exactly the same
code again % 60 SIM card lock.
No netw. coverage
Your phone is in flight mode % 7 Flight
mode.
Your phone is not receiving any radio
signal, or the received signal is too
weak. Contact your network operator
