My 3gs iphone's model number is not losted and whe...

My 3gs iphone's model number is not losted and when i tyoe in the search bar the correct number it just wants to ask if i meant...... A totally different model number. Why does it sound like the Iphone i've had service on for 3+ yrs does not exist? I would like to be able to get my ring tones/te t tones out of my music app.
