My neo 4.5 main screen got locked on somehow and n...

My neo 4.5 main screen got locked on somehow and now won't unlock ..... I can see my message icon and my missed calls icon ..... Below that there is an icon with a padlock on it .... When I swipe my finger over it nothing happens
