Question About Kyocera Cell Phone None
won't let me speak...

There is a symbol on top center with a mic/speaker with line through it. I can call or receive calls but I can NOT speak with other person(on another ph) I can only hear them. NO voice pickup on talking end of phone. Thank You,Eric

0 Your phone has automatically locked the keyboard to prevent accidental dialing (since the button stick out and are easy to jit accidently). To disable it to makea call, press tthe "shift"button (lower leftc orner)and the "OK" button (top right corner) to temporarily unlock it. Then, go to the menu - choose setting, then choose key-guard. You can then turn it off completely or set different amount if idle times before it will locked the keyboard again.

0 I it's not the key guard, it could be a defective microphone/earphone if you're using one.

0 The "symbol on top center with a mic/speaker with line through it" sounds like the "mute" is turned on. Look through the manual for the mute feature. Thank you for saying thank you.
