Screen Turns White for Extended Periods!...

The LCD screen turns white for extended periods before turning back to normal (the white screen lasts for several days). I usually see the LCD screen with distorted images when i slide up the phone, sometimes, mirror images of the normal display, can be seen. Is this common to the KU380? How can i fix this?
