Question About Blackberry Cell Phone 8530

I bought my phone on amazon just to use with wifi or my home router. i don't have a sprint contract. It worked fine for a while but now when i try to connect to the web it says" Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider."
