The screen has frozen with the new messages indica...

The screen has frozen with the new messages indicator on. It is not locked. I can lock/unlock but can't get rid of it. Neither View or Exit work. I have the manual.

5 Have you tried turning it off and on again? Either by the button or the force removal of the battery. Sometimes this helps solve the issue in stuck phones. Other times you may need to go as far as restoring your phone back to factory settings. It sounds like you are in a bad situation and have tried everything you know to do. If you've restored your phone back to square one and the problem still persists, then it's time to take it back to the provider and let them know what's wrong. They'll probably try to fix it as well, then have you get a new phone, either the same one or a new one.
