Sending Text Messages
Your phone is able to send a text message of up to 5
recipients with a cellular phone number or e-mail ad-
dress. The phone saves up to 30 messages in your
Outbox.
To Send a Text Message
1. Press and
F
to enter “Send Message”
menu.
2. The “Send To” appears.
3. Enter the cellular phone number or e-mail ad-
dress. You can also recall it from your phonebook
by pressing the key under
P-Book
.
4. Press the key under
OK
.
Then “Enter Text” appears.
5. Enter your message. Press the key under
OK
.
6. The menu appears for ed-
iting your message.
7. To send the message, press or the key under
Send
.
8. Then “Sending Mail” ap-
pears with animation.
9. Depending on the settings, the message may
be saved in the Outbox.
Notes: 1. To specify two or more recipients, press
after step 3, and repeat from step 2.
2. To enter your text, see Entering Letters and
Symbols on page 32.
3. The message length is up to 160 charac-
ters that includes the text message and the
e-mail address. It may be shorter depend-
ing on your service provider.
4. This feature sends only English letters.
