Sounds
Volume and ring tone
You can assign every event type its own ring tone on this menu. In the Sounds menu, choose
the Ring tones menu and [Select]. Select the function to which you want to assign a ring tone.
Select the desired ring tone from the list and validate. Select the desired volume with the help of
the Ä and ~ buttons and validate. You can deactivate the sound by pressing the key.
Silent mode
You can change to silent mode via this menu.
In the Sounds menu, choose the Silent mode menu and [Select].
Activate or Deactivate silent mode and validate.
Silent mode can also be activated via the initial screen by holding down the key.
When the phone is in silent mode, the relevant icon appears on the initial screen.
In this mode, the ring tone will not function, except for the alarm clock.
Note: if you have activated silent mode, it does not remain after switching off your phone.
Beeps
You can activate network, key or battery warnings on this menu.
In the Sounds menu, choose the Beeps menu and [Select]. Select the type of beep (key tone,
network tone, battery warning tone) you want to allocate from the proposed choices and vali-
date. Activate or deactivate the beep and validate. If you select keypad beeps, different options
are available.
Sound profiles
This function enables a quick change of the different volumes of the mobile phone (receiver,
beep, hands free, ringing function).
You can access this function via the side volume key. In order to change the volumes, the
receiver, beep and ringing function levels must be set to Automatic.
