Using the short message service (SMS) your phone can send and
receive multipart messages, which consist of several ordinary
text messages (network service). Invoicing may be based on the
number of ordinary messages that are required for a multipart
message.
Note that using special (Unicode) characters take up more space.
Your device supports the sending of text messages beyond the
character limit for a single message. Longer messages are sent as
a series of two or more messages. Your service provider may charge
accordingly. Characters that use accents or other marks, and
characters from some language options, take up more space, limiting
the number of characters that can be sent in a single message.
The blinking indicates that the message memory is full.
Before you can receive new messages, delete some of your old
messages.
