ANSWERING A CALL
When the phone receives an incoming call, it rings and
CALL
flashes on the display. To answer the call, press . To end
the call, press .
Notes:
Your phone can receive calls even if the antenna is not
extended. For optimum performance or if the signal
strength becomes weak, however, extend the antenna.
If you subscribe to calling line ID service through your
cellular carrier, you can view the calling party’s phone
number on the phone’s display. See “Viewing/Recalling
Messages” on Page 41.
If your phone receives a call but the signal strength is too
weak to support it,
CALL
appears and the phone sounds
a series of beeps. The caller hears the standard “cus-
tomer not available” message. If this happens, press
to clear
CALL
from the display.
Missed Call Message
If your phone is on and receives a call, but you do not answer
it,
CALL
appears on the display for about 15 seconds after
the calling party hangs up. The next time you press any key
(except , , or ),
CALL
reappears for about 15 sec-
onds to notify you that you missed a call.
