Backlight
You can specify whether or not the phone uses the
backlight. A marginal increase in standby/talk time
can be achieved by turning the backlight off.
The following options are available.
Off: the backlight is not used.
Short: the backlight comes on when you press a key
or receive a call and switches off 10 seconds after
the last key is pressed.
Long: the backlight comes on when you press a key
or receive a call and switches off 20 seconds after
the last key is pressed.
Service Light (Menu 5-3)
This menu option allows you to select whether the
service light on the folder is used or not.
To turn the light on, select one of the seven colours.
If you do not wish to use the service light, select Off.
Language (Menu 5-4)
You can select a different language for the display,
text input modes and voice functions.
Power On/Off Image
This option allows you to select the image to be
displayed when you switch the phone on or off.
Main Display
This option allows you to select the idle screen for
the main display.
Normal: displays the normal idle screen with the
navigation key functions.
Image: displays the selected wallpaper image.
External Display
This option allows you to select the type of clock to
be displayed on the external display in idle mode.
Digital clock: displays a digital clock.
Analogue clock: displays an analogue clock.
Main Contrast
This option allows you to adjust the contrast of the
main display to make it lighter or darker. Use the
and keys or the volume keys on the left side of
the phone.
External Contrast
This option allows you to adjust the contrast of the
external display to make it lighter or darker. Use
the and keys or the volume keys on the left
side of the phone.
