The Camera

Use the navigation key to browse through the tips that
outline useful camera features.
Take a picture with the flip open
1. In standby mode, press the Camera button ( ),
located just above the navigation key.
2. Use the camera wheel to point the camera at your
subject. Use the display to as a viewfinder.
3. Whenever you’re satisfied with the image that appears in
the display, press . Your phone emits a sound similar
to a phone shutter opening and closing, and the picture
that you took appears in the display.
4. Press the right soft key ( ) Save to save the pictures
to memory.
5. Press the left soft key ( ) Cancel if you don’t wish to
save the photo.
Take a picture with the flip closed
See “Camera Help” on page 28 for some helpful tips about
taking pictures with your camera flip closed.

In standby mode, press the camera button ( ) to
activate the camera.
2. Rotate the flip clockwise, then close the flip so the
display is on the outside.
3. Use the down volume key ( ) to browse (right to left)
through the icons in the following table. The icons listed
represent various camera functions.
