1. WARNING! Make sure to remove any load from the Adapter before per-
forming any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.
2. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the Adapter. Check for
loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, bent or broken parts,
and any other condition that may affect the safe operation of the Adapter. If
abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further
use. Do not use damaged equipment.
3. Periodically, lubricate pivot points and Screw Rod (12).
4. To clean, use a mild detergent or solvent. Then, dry.
INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING
5. CAUTION! All maintenance, service, or repairs not mentioned in this
manual must only be performed by a qualified service technician.
9. With assistance, roll the transmission/differential out from under the vehicle to
the work location where it will be repaired.
10. WARNING! After repairing the transmission/differential, DO NOT remove
the Chain (5) until the transmission/differential has been securely bolted back
onto the vehicle.
11. WARNING! The use of this Adapter is limited to the removal, installation,
and transportation in the lowest position of transmissions and differentials. The
Adapter is not design to hold transmissions/differentials or other parts for an
extended period of time.
12. When finished using the Adapter, store the tool in a clean, dry, safe location out
of reach of children and other unauthorized people.
