Important!
- There are various ways to connect the system
to a TV (as shown in the illustration). You only
need to make one of these connections.
- Always refer to the instruction manual of the
connected equipment to make an optical con-
nection.
Connecting to TV
1 Use the supplied audio cables to connect AUDIO
OUT jacks to the corresponding AUDIO IN jacks on
the TV or other audio/visual components.
2 Use Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y cables (not supplied) to con-
nect Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y jacks to the corresponding
video input jacks on a TV.
If your TV is not equipped with Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y video
input jacks, you can select one of the following al-
ternative connections:
Option 1
Connect the S-VIDEO OUT jack to the S-Video in-
put jack on the TV using a S-Video cable (not sup-
plied).
Option 2
Connect the VIDEO OUT jack to the video input
jack on the TV using a video cable (supplied).
Option 3
If your TV does not have inputs for Pr/Cr Pb/Cb Y,
S-VIDEO, or yellow Video jack, use an RF modula-
tor (not supplied) to connect to your TV.

will need either the digital-coaxial cable or the digi-
