Listening to FM stereo broadcasts

• While listening to an FM broadcast, press the
MO/ST button. Each time this button is pressed,

• Mono mode—ST turns off.
Recording
Use your stereo receiver as a switch to connect your
audio sources to the audio recording device that is
connected to AUX 1 OUT (for example, a tape
deck). You can record audio from your CD, Phono, or
AUX 2 device to the audio recording device. You can
also record a CD, Phono, or AUX 1 audio source if
your audio recording device is connected to AUX 2
OUT.
Recording on AUX 1
To record on AUX 1:
1 Select the recording input source (this cannot
be AUX 1).
2 Start recording on the AUX 1 device.
3 Start play on your input device to provide the
audio signal to record.
Recording on AUX 2
To record on AUX 2:
1 Select the recording input source (this cannot
be AUX 2).
Note
Stations with weak signals will not be scanned, and
will therefore not be sampled.
Notes
• The volume, tone (bass and treble), and balance
settings have no effect on the recording signals.
• When you select the tuner, CD, or PHONO as a
recording source, recording may be made on
AUX 1, or AUX 2, or both simultaneously.
