Safety Inspection Checklists
Inspect/Adjust Initially and Monthly
❑ Inspectcasterbaseformissinghardware.
❑ Ensurethatthecasterbaseislevelandnotrockingoncasters.
❑ Inspectthecastersandaxleboltsfortightness.
❑ Inspectcastersforsmoothswivelandroll.
❑ Ensurethatcastersarefreeofdebris.
❑ Inspecttheinnermastforbendsorscrapes.
❑ Inspectthearms,hardwareandattachmentpoints.
❑ Ensuretheseatarmsliftouttothesides.
❑ Ensurethebuttonpositionsstretcherarmsproperly.
❑ Ensurethattheseatarmsareleveland/oreven.
❑ Ensurethattheelectricactuatorassemblyoperatessmoothlyandquietly.
❑ Cleantheliftwhenevernecessary.Regularcleaningwillreveallooseorwornparts,
enhancesmoothoperationandextendthelifeexpectancyofthelift.
❑ Inspectallsafetystrapattachmentstoensureproperconnectionandoccupantsafety.
❑ Inspectthesafetystrapforsignsofwear.Replaceifwornordamaged.
❑ Checkthatalllabelsarepresentandlegible.Replaceifnecessary.
❑ Inspect
electricalcomponentsforsignsofcorrosion.Replaceifcorrodedordamaged.
Adjust Every 6 Months
