After ANY adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure that all
attaching hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.
Installing/Removing Flip Back Armrests
ƽ WARNING
Make sure the flip back armrest release and height adjustment levers are in the
locked position before using the wheelchair.
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 8.1.
NOTE:Flipbackarmrestreleaselevermustbeintheunlocked(up‐horizontal)positionwhen
placingthearmrestintothearmsockets.
Installing
1. Visuallyinspecttoensureflipback
armrestreleaseleverisintheunlocked
(up‐horizontal)position.
2. Slidetheflipbackarmrestintothearm
socketsontheseatframe.
3. Installthequick‐releasepinthrough
thereararmsocketandflipback
armrest.
4. Locktheflipbackarmrestbypressing
theflipbackarmrestreleaseleverinto
thedown(vertical)position.
5. RepeatSTEPS1‐4fortheoppositeflip
backarmrest.
Removing
1. Unlocktheflipbackarmrestby
positioningtheflipbackarmrest
releaseleverintotheup(horizontal)
position.

2. Removethequick‐releasepinthatsecurestheflipbackarmresttothereararmsocket.
3. PullUPontheflipbackarmrestandremovethearmrestfromthearmsockets.
4. RepeatSTEPS
1‐3fortheoppositeflipbackarmrest,ifnecessary.
