1. Removetheshoulderbolt,washerand
nutfromthemountingbracketonthe
boomassembly.
2. Unpackthepinchguardfromthe
patientliftcarton.
NOTE:Thebottomoftheboomactuator
assemblywillalreadybeassembledtothemast
mountingbracket.
3. Cuttheplastic‐wrapthat
securesthe
boomandmasttogether.
4. Lift‐upontheboomandplaceiton
yourleftshoulder.
5. Lettheboomactuatorrestonshoulder
androtatetheshaftextensionofthe
actuatorassemblyuntilitlines‐upwith
themountingholesintheboom
assembly.
