20 Storing Contacts
Searching the Contacts
directory
To view contacts quickly:
1. Select Menu → Phonebook → Contacts →
View All.
2. Scroll down the list until you locate the
contact you want.
To search for a particular contact by name,
number or group:
1. Select Menu → Phonebook → Contacts →
Search.
2. Select the type of search, enter the search
information and press to select
OK.
The options are:
– Name Search enter the name, or first few
letters of the contact’s name.

Number Search enter the contact’s phone
number.

Group Search highlight the group name.
3. Scroll until you find the name you want, then
press .
Contact Options
The following options are available when you
select a contact and press :
–
Modify to edit the highlighted information.
–
Save to save the contact information.
–
Erase to erase the contact information.
–
Send SMS to send a short text message.
–
Send MMS send a multimedia message
to the contact. (This option is available
when a contact number or email address
is highlighted).

Add Voice to add a voice dial tag for
this contact.
–
Select Picture to assign a photo to
this contact.
–
Launch Web to launch the contact’s
web page.
–
Ringer to assign a ringer to this contact.
Note: To call the contact, highlight a phone
number and press .
