thattriggersthisfeature.TheScreenSavefeaturecanbedisabled
throughacommandfromthehostsoftware.Whenthefeatureis
notdisabled,twospecificoptionsexist.
TheSetScreenSaveBlank
operationcausesthedisplaytogoblankwhenthetimerexpires.
Whenthefirmwarereceivesthecommandcode,theScreenSave
modeiscanceled,andthefive‐minutetimerisestablished.Screen
SaveBlankremovespowerfromtheRetailDisplay,andrefreshes
thedisplayin
thesamemannerastheSetLowPowerOn
command.Atpowerup,thetimerisestablishedatfiveminutes,
andScreenSaveBlankisestablishedasadefault.Thefiveminute
timerisnotresetbyanyinvalidorincorrectcommand.

Description: Thiscommandcausesthevisibledisplaytowalk
righttoleftwhentheScreen Savetimerexpires(fiveminutes).The
charactersonthedisplayappeartowalkacrossthecorresponding
displayrowfromrighttoleft.Thetwolinesinthe2x20Display
walkinparallelcompletelyoff
theleftsideofthedisplay,andthen
thetwolinesappeartocomebackfromtheright.Ifthedisplayis
spacefilled,thennoeffectisperceivedeventhoughthewalkingis
takingplace.TheScreenSaveBlankmodeisthedefaultmodeafter
powerup.
