3. Tags
■ Tag features
Nokia NFC shell uses non battery-powered (passive) tags. Use the following tag
types: MIFARE® Standard, MIFARE® Standard 4k and MIFARE® Ultralight.
A tag can contain a shortcut which can be an SMS-based service, a URL of an
Internet-based service, or a phone number of a telephone service.
Nokia NFC shell contains four tags. If you need more tags, please contact your
vendor for compliant MIFARE® tags.
■ Place tags
You can place tags on any non-conductive material, such as glass, plastic, or
wood.
Do not place tags on metal or other conductive surfaces, as it may prevent the
RFID reader from being able to read the tags.
