Intercom between the main unit and portable handset
An intercom is available between the main unit and portable handset.
A 2-way intercom is available between 2 portable handsets.
(For KX-PW601DL users: An optional handset is needed when using this feature.)
Using the main unit: Using the portable handset:
2Start talking.

You can switch to the
speakerphone by pressing
(Speakerphone).

Lift the handset.

Press (Intercom).

Lift the handset.

Press (Intercom).

Press the portable handset number ( to )
which you want to call.
3Replace the handset to end the intercom call.
