Deactivating Secure Receive
If you need to deactivate Secure
Receive (faxes will be automatically
printed when received), follow the steps
below.

Press , then until
[ACTIVATE SECURE RCV.]
appears.

Press .

Press to select “NO”.
4
Enter the 4-digit secure code.

Press .
• The display will briefly show [NO
SELECTED] and then the date and
time.
• If the wrong code is entered,
[WRONG SECURE #] will appear.
Go back to Step 4.

Clearing the secure code
To clear the secure code, follow the
steps below.
• Secure Receive must be deactivated
before you can clear the secure
code.

[SECURE # CLEAR]
appears.

Press .

Enter the 4-digit secure code.

Press .
• The display will briefly show
[CLEARED] and then the date and
time.
• If the wrong code is entered,
[WRONG SECURE #] will appear.
Go back to Step 3.
