NOTE: Torque the four
engine mounting bolts
to 28 - 34 ft. lbs.
Install in dash
CHOKE hole.
Torque to
35 - 45 in. lbs.
Heat to 100˚ F
for installation.
Prevent hex washer (17) from turning
and torque capscrew (
19) to 45 - 50 ft. lbs.
Coat all threads with
teflon sealant.
NOTE: Apply anti-seize
compound to crankshaft
before installing pulley.
NOTE: Torque to
9 - 13 ft. lbs.
Front RH
Hole.
Align slot in
clutch with anchor
pin on frame.
Note:
Orentation
of All Keys
Ref. No. 38 can
be used to replace
both Ref. Nos. 9.
Ref. No. 14 must be
removed to do this.
Tie clutch wire to
clutch away from
belt & pully.
