On inslalling Ihe kilchen hood make sure
Ihat Ihe Salety Inslruclions set out on page
10 are complied wilh.
To obtain optimum performance, the external
conduct must not be more than FOUR
METRES long, have no more than two 90'
angles and Its diameter must be at least 0120.

1) Trace and drlll the points for fitting the wali
plugs onto the wali (Al) (08 x 40). See figure
nr. 1.
2) Fit the wall plugs (A 1) and screw in the long
bolts (A2) (05 x 45) leaving them protruding 5
mm out of the wall.
3) Attach the kitchen hood lO the long bolts
(A2). Stralghten the apparatus and tlghten the
long bolts.
4) Trace the location of the wall plugs (R) (08
x 40), through the Inslde 01the kltchen hood.
5) Loosen the long bolts (A2) and take the
kitchen hood 011.
6) Drili into Ihe wali and flt the wali plugs (R).
7) Attach the kitchen hood, tlghten the long
bolts (A2) and (S) (05 x 45) wlth the washers
(T) (06,4 x (18).
8) Mount the tubecovers. Lit! the upper
-+-
-
tubecover up to the desired height and mark Its
shape on Ihe wall. Remove the tubecovers.
9) FII the clips (F) to the support (C).
10) Centre the support (C) around the shape
marked; trace and drill the fixing polnts for the
wali plugs (E) (06 x 30). Attach the support (C)
with the long bolts (D) (04 x 30).
11) Fit the part (S) if the Inner tube (not
supplied) is 0120.
12) Attach the Inner tu be wlth a clamp (not
supplied) to (S) or on to the motors alr oullet
vent
as the case may be.
13) Once the inner tu be is fitted, fit the lower
tubecover
around the extractor
fan outlel and
attach the upper tubecover wlth the screws (G)
(03,9 x 20).

14) Choose placement of decorative rod (W)
on PI or P2.
15) From the inslde 01 the cooking hood, screw
Ilrst by hand (X) (M4 x 20) and then make tlght
with the wrench supplied.

When exterior gas extraction
is nol possible,
then the kltchen hood may be set to purify the
alr by recycling It through active charcoal
fllters.
The active charcoal filters
haya an active life of
between three to six months, dependlng on
the individual conditlons of use. These fllters
cannat be washed nor regenerated. They must
be replaced once their useful lile comes to an
end.

1) Put the fllters into Ihe lateral draught sectíon
of the motor making
the holas in the fjlters
match up (A) with the pivots (S) 01 the motor
carcass. Turn as indicated in the díagram.
2) Remove the tubecovers (E). Fit the dilluser
(C) on to the motors air oullet ven!. Fit Ihe
tubecovers back on (E).
