Presetting Stations
Manually presetting stations
This unit can store up to 40 stations (8 stations x 5 groups). Using this feature, you
can easily tune to any preset station by selecting the preset station number (see
page 38).

Tune to a station.

Press MEMORY (MAN’L/AUTO FM).
The MEMORY indicator flashes for about five seconds.

Press A/B/C/D/E repeatedly to select a preset station group (A to E).
The group letter appears on the display.
Note:
You must select a preset station group before the MEMORY indicator stops
flashing (about five seconds).

Press PRESET/TUNING

(1 to 8).

to select a higher preset station number.

Note:
You must select a preset station group before the MEMORY indicator goes off

Press MEMORY (MAN’L/AUTO FM).
The station band and frequency appear in the display with the preset group
and number you selected.

Repeat steps 1 through 5 to store other stations.
You can store up to 40 stations (A1~A8, B1~B8, C1~C8, D1~D8, and
E1~E8).
Notes:
The memory back-up circuit prevents the stored data from being lost even if this
unit is set to standby mode, the power cord is disconnected from the AC outlet, or
power service is temporarily cut due to power failure. However, if the power is cut
for more than one week, the memory may be deleted.
Any stored station data existing at a preset number is cleared when you store a new
station at that preset number.
The reception mode (stereo or monaural) is stored along with the station frequency.
