• Voice tags are not language dependent. They are
dependent on the speaker s voice.
• Voice tags are sensitive to background noise.
Record them and make calls in a quiet environment.
• When recording a voice tag or making a call by
using a voice tag, the loudspeaker is in use. Hold
the phone at a short distance away from your
mouth and face so that the proximity sensor does
not turn the loudspeaker off.
• Very short names are not accepted. Use long
names and avoid similar names for different
numbers.
]Automatic: You can enter the voice dial mode
whenever you open the flip.
]Manual: You can enter the voice dial mode by
holding down the key.
Note
You must say the name exactly as you said when you
recorded it. This may be difficult in, for example, a noisy
environment or during an emergency, so you should not rely
solely upon voice dialing in all circumstances.
Auto Redial (Menu 9.4.7)
Select On, and your phone will make a maximum of
three attempts to connect the call after an
unsuccessful call attempt.
Send DTMF Tones (Menu 9.4.8)
You can send the DTMF (dual tone multi-frequency)
tones of the number on the display during a call.
This option is helpful for entering a password or
account number when you call an automated system,
like a banking service.

Various codes and passwords are used to protect the
features of your phone. They are described in the
following sections (see pages 19)
Request PIN Code (Menu 9.5.1)
When the PIN code request feature is enabled, you
must enter your PIN each time you switch the phone
on. Consequently, any person who does not have your
PIN cannot use your phone without your approval.
