When needed — Set the packet data connection to be established when an
application needs it. The connection is closed when the application is terminated.
Always online — Set the device to automatically connect to a packet data network
when you switch the device on
USB data cable
You can use the CA-101 USB data cable (not included) to transfer data between the
device and a compatible PC. You can also use the USB data cable with Nokia PC
Suite.
To activate the device for data transfer or image printing, connect the data cable.
To change the USB mode, select Menu > Settings > Connectivity > USB data
cable and from the available options.
Ask on conn. — The device prompts you to select the connection type each time a
USB data cable is connected.
PC Suite — Use the device to interact with applications on a PC that has Nokia PC
Suite.
Music sync — Connect the device to a PC to synchronize music tracks.
Data storage — Connect to a PC that does not have Nokia software and use the
device as a data storage.
Lights
To activate the device lights for incoming calls and messages, select Menu >
Settings > Lights.
