Security settings
You can use this feature to protect your device from
unauthorized outgoing calls or unauthorized access to
information stored in the device.
To secure the device electronically, select Menu > Settings >
Phone > Security, enter the preset lock code 1234 or the
last 4 digits of your mobile directory number (depending
on your Network Provider), and select from the following:
Edit codes — Change the security code.
Restrictions — Set restriction for incoming or outgoing
calls and messages, and the dial-up modem function.
Phone lock setting — If set to On power up, when your
device is switched on, only emergency call, answering
incoming calls, and functions of viewing personal
information under emergency contacts list are available.
To disable this setting, select Unlocked.
Lock phone now — Lock the device with the security code.
Restore phone — Reset device settings to factory defaults.
