Deactivating PIN call

don’t enter your PIN Code at the prompt; just
press
OK

PIN CALL OFF

Voice and text messages
If you subscribe to voicemail, callers can leave
you voice messages which you can recall from
your voice mailbox.
If you have purchased the Nokia 282 NAMPS
version and subscribe to a text message network
service, callers may send you short text messages
that you can read on your phone’s display.

What is Prepaid Mode?
To activate your phone through TRACFONE
®
prepaid service, call the toll free number on the
card included with this Owner’s Manual.
If you activate your phone through TRACFONE
prepaid service, see “Debit (Menu 8, 282P only)”
on page 50 for information on the features
available.
Important note: You cannot activate your phone
through TRACFONE if you already have an existing
cellular service contract.
Note: If you activate your phone through TRACFONE,
contact TRACFONE Customer Service with questions
regarding any of your phone’s prepaid features.
Or, your service provider may offer prepaid
service compatible with your new Nokia phone.
