Note: As with any other radio transmitting
device, do not touch the antenna
unnecessarily when the device is switched on.
Contact with the antenna affects call quality and may
cause the device to operate at a higher power level than
otherwise needed. Avoiding contact with the antenna
area when operating the device optimises the antenna
performance and the battery life.
Keypad lock (Keyguard)
You can lock the keypad to prevent the keys being
accidentally pressed, for example, when your phone is in your handbag.
Locking the keypad
In standby mode, press Menu and then
within 1.5 seconds.
Unlocking the keypad
Press Unlock and then within 1.5 seconds.
To answer a call when the keyguard is on, press
. During a call, the phone can be operated
normally. When you end or reject the call, the keypad
will automatically be locked.
