Messages (Menu 1)
You can read, write, send and save text, multimedia and e-mail
messages. All messages are organised into folders.
Before you can send any text, picture, or e-mail message, you need to save your
message centre number, see Message settings on page 64.
Important: E-mail messages or multimedia message objects may contain viruses
or otherwise be harmful to your device or PC. Do not open any attachment if you
are not sure of the trustworthiness of the sender.
Note: When sending messages, your device may display the words "Message Sent".
This is an indication that the message has been sent by your device to the message
centre number programmed into your device. This is not an indication that the
message has been received at the intended destination. For more details about messaging
services, check with your service provider.
Text messages (SMS)
Using SMS (Short Message Service), your phone can send and receive multi-part
messages, which consist of several ordinary text messages (network service).
Sending multipart messages may affect invoicing. Consult your service provider
for more details.
You can also send and receive text messages that contain pictures.
