9. Settings
■ Profiles
Your phone has various setting groups, profiles, for which you can customize the
phone tones for different events and environments.
Select Menu > Settings > Profiles and a profile.
To activate the selected profile, select Activate.
To personalize the profile, select Personalise and the setting that you want to
change. For the tone settings, see Tone settings p. 54. Select Light effects to
activate the pulsating light indicator if the phone is switched on and the display
light is switched off. To rename a profile, select Profile name. The General profile
cannot be renamed.
To set the profile to be active until a certain time up to 24 hours, select Timed, and
set the time for the profile setting to end.
■ Themes
A theme is a package that may include a screen saver, a wallpaper image, a ringing
tone, a background image, and a colour scheme to customize your phone for
different events and environments.
Select Menu > Settings > Themes. To activate a theme, select Select theme to
view the Themes folder in Gallery. Open the folder, and scroll to a theme. Select
Options > Apply theme. To download new themes, select Theme downloads.
