To add a new configuration, select Add new, or select Options > Add new. Select
one of the application types from the list, and enter all the necessary settings. To
activate the settings, select Back > Options > Activate.
To view or to edit the user-defined settings, select the application that you want
to view, and select the setting to edit.
■ Security settings
When security features that restrict calls are in use (such as call barring, closed user group,
and fixed dialing) calls may still be possible to the official emergency number programmed
into your device.
Select Menu > Settings > Security settings, and from the following options:
PIN code request — to set the phone to request your PIN code every time the
phone is switched on. Some SIM cards do not allow the PIN code request to be
turned off.
Call barring service — to restrict incoming calls to and outgoing calls from your
phone (network service). A barring password is required.
Fixed dialling — to restrict your outgoing calls to selected phone numbers if this
function is supported by your SIM card.
Closed user group — to specify a group of people whom you can call and who can
call you (network service).
Security level. — If you select Phone, the phone requests the security code
whenever a new SIM card is inserted into the phone.
