Messaging
To send a message
1. Press the left softkey for Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Text Messaging.
4. Press for Send New.
5. Enter the phone number or name of the person to whom
you’re sending a message. When you are finished,
press
.
• To enter a phone number, enter the number.
• To send the message to one of your contacts, press the
left softkey followed by for Contacts
. Highlight
the desired contact and press . The Contact is
displayed. Press the left softkey for Select.
• You can send your message to multiple numbers or
addressees. Use the navigation keys to move up and
down your list of addressees. You can send a message to
a maximum of 10 numbers.
6. Create your message using the keypad. To change the text
entry mode or to add Quick Text, press the left softkey
for Options. For more information on entering text, see
"Entering Text" on page 20. When you are finished creating
your message, press .
7. Press left softkey for Send.
To change the sending options of the message
1. Compose your message, following steps 1-6 listed above.
